Processing of personal information

Information for Users(art. 13 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003)

Mico Sport respects and protects your privacy.Pursuant to art. 13 of Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 - “Personal Data Protection Code” - (hereinafter referred to as “the Code”), we provide the following information regarding the processing of personal information you provide us with in order to benefit from the services offered by Mico Sport (hereinafter also referred to as the “Owner”) on the website  (hereinafter referred to as the “Website").

  1. Purpose of processing: provision of the required services

Some of your personal information (name, surname, town/city, email address, credit card and/or PayPal account number) will be handled by Mico Sport independently to execute the General Terms and Conditions of Contract accepted by you during registration on the Website and, therefore, in order to: complete registration on the Website, assign you a username and password, allow you to access your account on the Website, provide you with requested services, manage payment transactions, and comply with legal obligations.The provision of this personal data for this purpose is optional, but refusal to provide it will make it impossible to register on the Website and use the Services offered by Mico Sport.

With your expressed, voluntary and optional consent, some of your personal information (name, surname, town/city, email address) will be processed by Mico Sport independently for marketing purposes, advertising and direct sales by mail, email , telephone, fax and any other means of distance communication in relation to the products or services offered by the two owners or by third parties.The provision of such personal data and the consent to its processing for this purpose is voluntary and optional and any refusal will in no way affect the possibility of registering on the Website and using the requested services. We remind you that, even in the case of consent, you may at any time oppose the processing of your personal data for this purpose, as well as exercise all the rights under art. 7 of the Code, in the form of a simple informal request to the Owner.

Processing methodsIn relation to the purposes described above, data will be processed using both IT and/or internet tools and on paper and, in any case, by means of appropriate tools to ensure its security and confidentiality by adopting the security measures set out by the Code. We inform you that your personal information will be stored at the Owner’s registered addressor on the premises of third party companies that offer so-called “hosting” services; in this case, these companies will be nominated as independent data controllers.

Your personal information may be made available when necessary to bodies nominated by the Owner as “data controllers” or “persons responsible for processing”.With the exception of the above, your personal information will not be distributed in any way.
